Elise and I had a great conversation and we went overtime!
She shared some really great insight. She has had an opportunity to visit and engage with Dealer Principals, General Managers, GSM’s, Directors and executives at many levels throughout many automotive organizations. We talked about leadership characteristics and she pointed out these:
- Top-Down Leadership. Leaders have to practice what they preach.
- Leaders know when to praise and promote versus coach and counsel.
- Social proof is REAL! When you can document and demonstrate what you do, people will put you in high demand!
